Story

Tom was cared for by the ICU (and HDU) department following his surgery for a ruptured aneurysm on 17th December. After a strong fight, defying all the odds at many stages, he slipped away on Sunday 8th January.

The medical care he received was second to none. He was treated with respect, dignity and thoughtfulness throughout his illness, as were the whole family. We would like to show our appreciation for this care.

Should you wish to make a small donation in memory of Tom this will go towards the ICU Staff Fund, which supports the hard-working and dedicated team with their training and development.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

The hospital charity is dedicated to supporting the patients and staff at Medway Hospital, providing the little extras that make such a big difference. Whilst we encourage general donations, to help as many people as possible, we understand you may want to donate to specific areas to say thank you.
