Story

Thanks for taking the time to read my page and I hope you can support me.

I joined the team at CHAS as a nurse just over 26 years ago and it’s been an amazing privilege and joy to care for the most amazing children and their families.  I know what a difference every penny donated to CHAS makes at the most unimaginably painful times.

I am so proud to be part of the CHAS family and want to do my bit to raise the money we need.

So I have signed up for a bit of a challenge.  I’m going to run my first ever marathon in Edinburgh on Sunday 29th May. It’s further than I have ever run before and as a late starter to running,  it was a distance I never even contemplated!

26 years with CHAS has gone by in a heartbeat so I’m sure with your support behind me, 26 miles will fly by and we can raise money together so CHAS can reach every child who needs our care and support.

Thanks so much. You are a star for reading and I appreciate your support.  It’s the first Edinburgh Marathon event since 2019 and every penny counts more than ever after a tough couple of years.
