Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be attempting to walk 54miles through The Peak District, including some of the mountains (sorry, big hills!), like Kinder Scout, Man Tor, Winn Hill and Lose Hill.

Im taking on this challenge to try and raise some funds for Parkinson's UK. My husband was diagnosed with this at the age of only 36. As it's an incurable neurological illness, any funds I raise will go towards finding a cure. Parkinson's UK have also helped us with information, specialist PD Nurses to talk to on the phone and general support, so money raised will also go towards them helping us and lots of other people, whatever age, who get diagnosed.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my page... And for your support, it means a lot.

Sue xx

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
