Well I completed the walk today and it was a special occasion, lots of people walking on behalf of their friends and relatives.  It was a perfect day the sun shone and the scenery, as we walked around Leeds Castle was stunning..  I would like to say a huge ' Thank You'  to my special friends Maureen, Richard and Catherine who came on the walk with me.  

...and of course a big 'Thank You' to everyone who kindly and generously donated money for my cause. I am really grateful and appreciate your kindess and am sure the Alzheimers Society will be very grateful to you all too.  I will let you know my final donation figure shortly.  Luv and thanks, Sue xxxxx

 

 

I am doing the 5km Alzheimers 'Memory Walk' on 18th September at Leeds Castle, Maidstone and am doing it in memory of my mam.  My mam was one of life's special people...she was extremely caring and loving and was my best friend.  She made me who I am today and I love her so much and miss her every single day.  She endured so much pain and unhappiness to this awful disease and it was heartbreaking watching her whole personality change.  I would really like to help the Alzheimers Society  raise as much money as I possibly can to enable them to help those who are currently suffering this distressing disease.  If you can help me, by donating anything, I will be most grateful.  Many thanks, Sue xxxxx
