Story
On 29th November 2019 I was told that I had breast cancer.
Throughout the 'journey' so far, my husband, Shaun, has been taking some photographs, some of which have won photographic competitions!
We decided that these photos should be used to make a positive impact and this would be in the form of an exhibition that will both raise awareness and funds for the Stars Appeal.
Without Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal my
diagnosis, surgery and treatment may have been very different. Funding from the charity has directly impacted me in many ways including:
- Building Breast Unit
- Latest diagnostic and treatment equipment
- Free Wi-Fi
- Wellbeing programmes
- Free hot and cold drinks on the Pembroke (chemo) unit
- Free headwear
- Support for staff wellbeing
If it wasn't for Covid, I would have also benefited from
complimentary activities and arts projects!
Please come to visit our exhibition:
- Saturday 2nd April 2022
- 12.00pm - 5.00pm
- Antrobus House, 36 Salisbury Road, Amesbury, SP4 7HH
- Free parking
- Free entry
- Cakes and drinks
- Donations to the Stars Appeal

Thank so much.
