Story
The MS Trust is committed to ensuring everyone with MS can access the treatments and services they need and deserve. We aim to represent and reach all people affected by MS, from the moment of diagnosis throughout their journey. Your support will allow the MS Trust to continue to train health professionals. Approximately 103,688 people with MS live in areas where there are not enough MS nurses to look after everyone. So, The MS Trust are working with the NHS to fund new MS nurses in the areas that need them most and ensure people with MS have the care and support they need.
In January, a good friend of mine asked me join her in this amazing event. We had great plans around training but life just got in the way and so I am entering this event, not entirely ready for the 13.1 miles that are looming.
I will however, go and run the event showing the courage and strength that people with MS show everyday. I am running this for my nephew, who has suffered with this disease for a few years now. As with many people, he was diagnosed at a young age and the daily impact of the disease varies.
The people I know with this disease are so courageous on a daily basis - their strength in battling this disease will help drive me around the course.
Please give what you can to help raise funds to try and eventually find a cure for this disease.
