Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am raising money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity because they provide fantastic treatment and support for their patients and their families.
My Mum fought long and hard against cancer since she was 32 years old and lost the battle 26 years later.
She endured her treatment with a smile and an astounding amount of strength. She never complained and she never gave up.
She worked at Hazelbury Nursery in Edmonton. The staff there were fantastic and supported her (and us) in so many ways.
She loved working with children and aside from the little ones she was a Scout Leader at the 4th Wood Green and an Explorer Leader at the 4th Southgate. She never backed down from a challenge and camped and climbed alongside everyone else.
She also ran the box office for the London Pantomimers, the Scout pantomime, for goodness knows how many years. She was always busy yet still had time for everyone who needed it.
Above all though she was a fantastic Mother (whose ability to mortify her kids was astounding) and a wonderful Grandmother to Lily and Sienna.
