Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My husband, Alan, volunteers for this team.  All the volunteers give up their time to attend regular training, make sure their kit and vehicles are ready for call outs, attend local events to provide medical cover as well as rescuing people from places that the other emergency services can't access, which includes water, literally saving peoples lives with their skill and expertise.

A lot of our friends enjoy the outdoors whether it's walking, mountain biking or just enjoying the stunning scenery that we are lucky enough to live close too.  We never think that we would have to call on a Search and Rescue Team but accidents happen and you never know when you might need them.

It started as the Great North Run now its 4 half marathons in 4 months.

North Wales - 4th August 2019

Great North Run - 8th September 2019

Shrewsbury Half - 6th October 2019

Conwy Half Marathon - 17th November 2019

It doesn't have to be a big donation - they all add up.  So if you fancy donating the price of a posh coffee or the cost of a pint it would be very much appreciated.  All the proceeds go to the charity and all the other costs, including the entry fee for the races, have been paid by myself.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
