In January 1989 was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer with secondries to  the bowel pelvis an stomach,,, This was devastating news not just because i was ill but because my daughter was only 8 yrs old and i did not want to leave her so young...I was taken to the Royal Marsden hospital were i remained for several months going home just for a day at the weekend when i could see my beautiful daughter.... I went from 14st to about 7st over this period and was very ill..The prognosis was min 6 months and 4 months in they asked me to try a very new chemo just to see if i could get just a little bit longer...This i did i lost my hair an was so ill but never once did i give up ,,I fought all the way an after 9 months they said i was in remission.   The hospital dont know why or how my tumours shrunk the way they did but after 3 yrs i was signed off of all treatment...And the rest they say is history...So on Feb 1st 2014 i am having a Gala night of which i have already sold all the 100 tickets and want to raise money for the faboulous St Lukes Hospice ...So please please please dig deep Thank you in advance
