Story
"Sue's 60 Minutes"
Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2014 starts Wednesday October 1st and Ends Friday
October 31st.
In that month Sue Cook will have reached her 5 year remission milestone.
In July 2013 Sue saw her beautiful daughter Laura married to Matt, a day
charged with emotion knowing that without the continuing efforts of cancer
research organisations like Cancer Research UK and Breakthrough Breast Cancer, the day might have been
a very different one.
So in celebration of this, and to have the opportunity to give something back, Sue,
her family, friends, and her friends’ friends are invited to take part in
"Sue's 60 Minutes". This can be a personal or group challenge with a
communal aim to raise money for Cancer Research.
The chosen day for this activity is Sunday October 26th but if you are busy or
working on that day then any date in October would be great.
So whether you go it alone or get together with your friends, help us to
celebrate, raise money and have fun or simply make a contribution, however
small.
