Story

The Children’s Bereavement Centre (CBC) is a local registered charity supporting children and young people aged between 3-18 that are suffering life changing trauma due to the death or terminal illness of someone important in their lives. Run by a committed team of supportive and professional people passionate about helping children with the grieving process the Centre offers a welcoming and safe environment for them and their families to receive the help and guidance they need during one of the most traumatic times in their lives. Operating for more than 16 years the CBC has supported thousands of local children, young people and their families and remains the only dedicated children’s bereavement service in this area. Its services are offered free of charge across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

Whilst working as a Complementary Therapist, I was able to donate sessions to support the hardworking team at CBC.

Every 22 minutes in the UK a child is bereaved of a parent so I hope you will support me by sponsoring me to take on this amazingly, crazy feat. I don't like heights!!! Eek!!Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
