Story
Namaste and Hello,
For my thirteenth birthday this year, I have decided that I would contribute in helping young cancer patients.
The reasoning behind this is because my friend Venisha was sadly diagnosed with Stage 3 Cancer. So, in honour of the hardship she is going through, I have to decided to run 5km for 13 days. Venisha is a strong willed person who is very inspiring and I want to do what I can to contribute in the care of young lives like her- for them to win the battle against cancer and live out the best of the childhood and be healthy.
There is always the challenge of uncertainty when faced with such a horrifying news and I deeply resonate with those who have lost people to cancer- because of this I feel as even though my contribution is small, I hope that the running I will be doing can save more lives that those children deserve to live.
You can make it one to remember by donating to help stop cancer destroying young lives. CLIC Sargent fights tirelessly for young cancer patients. They provide grants and free accommodation close to hospital to help with spiralling costs. Their care teams are on hand to help families with everything from getting benefits to treatment closer to home. They're there to make sure young cancer patients can focus on getting their lives back on track.
