We want to raise money to support the NHS, including their workers and volunteers, during this global pandemic.

The coronavirus outbreak has proven to be the most deadly disease outbreak the country, and world, has known for decades. The time we are living in is unparalleled to anything we have ever known. We, the members of SUBC and our families, are doing our bit by staying at home but we want to do more.

The NHS has been placed under a severe amount of pressure to save the lives impacted by COVID-19. The workers and volunteers are risking their lives everyday to protect us, our communities and our country.

Our rowing season was brought to an abrupt end however we are continuing to train hard so we can be ready when we are allowed to get back on the water. We have decided to set ourselves a challenge: cover 17,000 km (the circumference of the UK) in 3 weeks. Whether we run, walk or cycle the distance will be covered and regular updates will be posted here!
