Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

As we all have nothing better to do on a summer's evening (except eat, drink and be merry) we've decided to go for an evening stroll and hopefully raise oodles of cash for a fabulous local charity; St Wilfrid's Hospice.  This hospice has cared for and supported some of our nearest and dearest, through some very difficult and challenging times.

So, on Friday 19th June we will be:
Walking the moonlit paths, cobbled streets and Roman Walls of Chichester - completing a ten-mile circuit along the way.

Since the Hospice opened in 1987 they have cared for over 8,000 local people.  At any one time, they care for around 210 people in the community and offer support to their families and friends.  All their services are provided free of charge, they are not a part of the NHS and rely on public support to raise 89.5% of their annual running costs of £4.3 million

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: St Wilfrid's Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
