Story
My Mother-in-Law Veronica, has been battling Alzheimer’s and Vascular Dementia for the last 9 years.
I have witnessed the toll these awful diseases have taken on Veronica and to those around her, namely my wife Anna-liese and my Father-in-Law Steve. Against such a condition, I have felt largely helpless and unable to make any meaningful impact.
Whilst this walk presents a small challenge, its an opportunity for me to collectively raise some funds to aid research, in the hope it may help others in the future.
Thank you for taking the time to read and for your support.
Much Love

Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary but we must confront the biggest health & social care challenge of our time. We owe it to the 900,000 people across the UK currently living with dementia to campaign for change, whilst providing vital day-to-day support. By taking part and raising money, or donating to someone who is, you are helping to do this.Once you donate, JustGiving sends your money directly to Alzheimer's Society you dont need to do anything and it's the most efficient way to fundraise. So, who will you walk for? #MemoryWalk
