For the past couple of years we have been helping the Chris Lucas Trust raise funds through their Great North Bike Ride. Unfortunately, this year the event has had to be cancelled, so we have decided to create our own challenge, and undertake a ride from Dunbar to Newcastle,  approximately 107 miles along the back roads. No marshalls, no first aid tents, no roadside catering, and no sweeper to pick us up if we're going too slow. Just us!

The ride will take place on the 5th September, we're starting off at 8am in Dunbar. We're aiming for 8 hours, but more importantly we need to finish in time to catch the last train home from Newcastle that evening :)
