In June 2011, my dad Stuart was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Sadly dad passed away in March 2012, however during the 10 months since he was diagnosed the charity MND Scotland offered fantastic support and advice for both my mum and dad. A great deal of research still needs to be carried out on this rare disease and it is my intention to help out just a wee bit.
