Story
During lock down like many of my friends we found solace and took up Open Water Swimming in The River Witham, Lincolnshire.
Now swimming daily, we have been inspired to embark on swimming one of the most dangerous stretches of water in the world - The English Channel.
The English Channel is the stretch of water between England and France. The shortest route to swim across it is 22 miles long, but that can change depending on the current. The Channel is one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world, with 600 tankers and 200 ferries passing through it every day!
Our swim window is booked for the 19th June - 3rd July, tide dependant.
Please support this amazing charity with a financial donation or by collecting an additional item of food which can be given to me monthly and taken to our local food bank.
