Story

Hello Friends and family

On July 18th I will be attempting to swim across the Solent avoiding tankers, yachties, sharks, jellyfish amd other floating nasties that can be found in these lovely waters. It's a  distance anywhere between 2.25 and 3 miles depending on chosen landing point on the day, tides and how straight i swim.

There are 2 backup dates on August 15/16th should the weather be to rough to make the crossing unsafe and should these also be unuseable then a similar distance will be swam along the coast.

I will be doing this for Champion Behaviors a charity set up to deliver workshops free at the point of delivery, to local young people in danger of exclusion from school and society. The aim is to help develop champion behaviors and reduce antisocial behavior in young people and encourage them to become valued community members.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Champion Behaviours gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
