Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. In September I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the largest single standing mountain in the world at over 19,000ft. It's a 6 day climb with temperatures capable of falling to -25°C.

I'm doing this climb to raise money for the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) who were able to help a close friend and her son George, who was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma (Rb) at only 18 months of age, which resulted in the loss of his right eye and a fight to save his left. Rb is a fast growing eye cancer of early childhood, Rb almost always develops before 5 years of age and some children are born with the cancer.

I am funding this trip myself so all the money raised will go straight to charity.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Childhood Eye Cancer Trust gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my fundraising page, any contribution you are able to give would be much appreciated.
