Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Doddie is a Scottish Rugby legend, who in 2017, revealed he had Motor Neurone disease.

By November 2017 Doddie and his trustees had launched the registered charity My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. (www.myname5doddie.co.uk )

I was privileged to be pitch side in November 2017 and witness an emotional BT Murrayfield when Doddie presented the match ball with his sons,  before the Scotland v New Zealand game.

The spirit that Doddie displays to fight MND and raise funds for research into the condition and provide grants for people living with MND is inspirational to everyone. Being involved with Rugby,  his cause is much closer to home and I'm looking to raise as much as I can by running this years London Marathon .

My efforts pale into insignificance compared to Doddie's but I assure you, getting my 100kg plus body round 26 miles will be less than pleasurable!

Please be generous and support a great cause!
