All monies raised as a result of my marathon will go towards the current major redevelopment of two thirds of the hospitals site. GOSH buildings need to be urgently replaced as they come to the end of their useful lives. Without this redevelopment, advances in technology and treatments will not be so readily translated into real improvements in the care of sick children.
