Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have had type 1 Diabetes now for over 17 years, and have been lucky enough not to have any major problems. However i have not been the most disciplined at eating right and looking after myself. I needed a kick to get me back on track, so decided to challenge myself to run the London Marathon. I thought what better way to achieve my goal and to help raise funds for the people that have looked after me and lots of others like me and help research into Diabetes. I also thought that it might encourage younger people with type 1 Diabetes to see someone of my age with the same illness still achieving their goals
