We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."

Barry is an ex student and friend of
mine. He is married to the wonderful Helen and has two amazing children in
Charlie and Millie. Barry and I have played rugby together, partied and
celebrated together, laughed together until tears were rolling down our cheeks.
Several years ago, Barry was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.

Over the next year (or two!), I intend
to walk the Southwest coastal footpath in stages, in order to raise funds for
the Motor Neuron Disease Association.

You can donate and join me. We can walk
and talk. Two simple activities that Barry now really finds increasingly
difficult.

For those of you unable to join me on
the walk, I have put together a 4 step wellbeing programme that reflects the
simple things we often take for granted, that Barry and others living with MND
find an ever increasing challenge. You can donate and undertake the wellbeing
challenge. Or why not do both!

For my part, I work as a yoga teacher
and physiotherapist. I will be teaching seated yoga in care homes along the
route of the footpath, in exchange for a donation to the association.

Both Barry and I played rugby, so I will
also be teaching one off yoga 4 stiff blokes classes at local rugby clubs in
exchange for a donation.
