Story
After our successful climb of the Yorkshire Three Peaks – (thanks to everyone who supported us, we raised £2603 for Richard House Children’s Hospice and were amongst the top three fundraisers on JustGiving, an amazing result!) – Boston and I are now taking on the Hadrian’s Wall challenge.
In less than eight weeks we will set off on a six day journey trekking a tough 84 miles, from coast to coast, covering on average 14 miles per day.
This time round we’re upping our game, aiming to raise £5000 for our chosen charity Richard House Children’s Hospice, which provides support and care to over 300 families whose children have life-limiting and complex health care needs.
I recently visited the hospice and saw first-hand the amazing work the team does. With the £2603 we raised last year, a child received five full days of 24 hour care – giving the parents a well-deserved break.
Richard House depends entirely on charitable donations and must raise £2 million each year to keep its doors open. Your support really does make a difference, so please help me reach my goal of £5000!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with just JustGiving and will never be passed on. Once you donate the money is sent directly to the charity.
