Story
On August the 29th 2012, baby Eva Hope Jackson was born. Sadly she was born with a hole in the heart and also an undeveloped left heart ventrical which is needed to pump blood to her brain. Eva was transferred to the Freeman hospital paediatric intensive care unit where she had constant 24 hour care. In her short life she had to endure so much including 3 open heart surgury procedures and even being on the heart/lung/kidney by-pass machine. On day four we were lucky enough to be with Eva when she opened her eyes for the first time. Sadly on day six Eva suffered a massive brain hemorrhage and she passed away. As a parent, no words can ever explain the traumer, heart ache and emotion of losing a child and it is something that no parent should ever have to go through. As a result we are raising money to help stop this from happening to someone else. Your generosity can help so many people in Eva's situation and it is unbelievable that one child nearly everyday is admitted to the ward with similar problems to Eva. Lets try and stop this from happening again, please help.
