Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As part of the ‘I Am Ethicon’ campaign which has been running throughout 2011, Ethicon has partnered with a charity, Operation Smile and has been involved in various fundraising events throughout the year. As part of the campaign the Acclarent UK team will be taking part in an event called Walking for ‘S’ miles which will see the team walking through London Central collecting donations at each of London’s landmarks on 1st December 2011. Too many children are born with a severe cleft condition each year and in many places, these children are avoided, spurned and ignored. Unfortunately, it is all too often that their parents cannot afford to pay for the much-needed surgeries to repair the condition so these children can live normal, healthy and happy lives. There are 4,000 medical volunteers working for Operation Smile in developing countries across the world, performing operations that take as little as 45 minutes but make the difference from a child shying away at home to be out playing with their friends with a beaming smile on their face. But Operation Smile needs funds and with your donations they will be able to continue their amazing work. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
