Story
The Challenge!
To cycle from Land's End following the south Cornish coast, riding over the wilds of Dartmoor, and over the Severn Bridge into Wales. Following the River Wye on the Welsh border through the stunning rural landscapes of Hereford and Shropshire. Heading further north we discover the amazing Forest of Bowland then into the Lake District and cross the border into Scotland. Before long we're passing through the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and Grampian Mountains to Inverness, then the experience wilderness of the Scottish Highlands en-route to our final destination John O'Groats. Distance 1009 miles, Ascent 55,310ft!
The Aim
To raise money for two very worthwhile local charities that do great work.
The Charities
Molly Olly’s Wishes which supports children with terminal or life threatening illnesses and their families to help with their emotional wellbeing. We grant individual wishes and donate therapeutic toys and books to both children directly and to hospitals throughout the UK.

Freddie’s Wish which was set up by founder Charlotte Jolliffe whose son, 13 month old Freddie, was sadly taken in a tragic car accident in December 2014.
Freddie’s Wish aims to educate healthcare professionals and wider society in the importance of offering proactive support to bereaved parents to help them through the darkest of times and also signpost bereaved relatives towards support that may be relevant to their specific circumstances or provide support to the family directly. They are also partnered with MDD First Aid to help fund first aid courses for parents/carers to give them the knowledge and skills to potentially save their child’s life.
