Hi everyone and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm challenging myself to run this half marathon as I haven't done any running training since last year's London marathon! This could possibly be due to a little distraction in my life who was born in May! So it's now time to get my fitness levels back up.

I've chosen to run Silverstone on behalf of Basildon & Thurrock University Hospitals (the Polly Parrot appeal), as the money raised will go directly to the new children's A & E department at Basildon hospital. I feel as though this is my way of giving something back, as the maternity unit of the hospital took such great care of all 3 of us when Chloe was born.

So...please give whatever you can and a huge thank you (in advance) for doing so.
