I find the lead up to Christmas a difficult time of year, with the anniversay of my Mums passing being 24th December. So this year I have decided to throw myself into a challenge. Since becoming a keen cyclist/runner I have seen a significant improvement in my mental and physical health. I hope that by doing this challenge I can turn a negative situation into a positive by raising money for a good cause. I picked the MS Society as my sister suffers from Multiple Sclerosis. Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life, but treatments and specialists can help you to manage the condition and its symptoms.
More than 130,000 people in the UK have MS. In the UK people are most likely to find out they have MS in their thirties, forties and fifties. But the first signs of MS often start years earlier.
If anyone wishes to join me on any of the days please get in touch.
From the 1st December - 24th December I will cover 300km's, this will be a mixture of running and cycling. I will be doing the distances each day as shown in the photo. I have to complete the set distance each day to complete this challenge.
