Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am going to be sleeping rough/sleeping out for the night to support a local charity (The London and Slough Run) that open a night shelter each year to ensure local rough sleepers have somewhere warm and safe to stay over the winter months.

It would be great if you could give a little to help this excellent cause. Please see their main page for info on the event.

I know that these fundraising pages seem to appear all the time for a whole range of issues so please don't feel obliged but if you could spare a quid it would be great, if you are able to give a little more then that would be great too.

Homelessness is a complex issue which is close to my heart and unfortunately this event wont solve the problem but the shelter provides a vital service to rough sleepers over our coldest months.

If you can help in any way I would be immensely grateful

Thanks

Stu

About the charity

We started in the mid 1980's and provide soup runs for the homeless and disadvantaged in London and Slough. In 2014 we started a winter night shelter in Slough. We began a food share program in 2020 collecting from supermarkets and distributing to a number of local Charities every day.
