Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

If you've landed here then I thank you for being curious enough to get this far.  I'm running the London Marathon 2019 to raise money for Parkinson's UK.

10 years ago my Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's.  The support we have received from Parkinson's UK since that first diagnosis has been invaluable, ensuring that my Dad (Brian), has continued to have a good quality of life.  As his Parkinson's has become more prevalent over the last couple of years, we have faced some new challenges.  The support that we continue to receive ensures that he is still able to maintain an independent life.

Please give generously, it really will help me through the training and it's cold out there.  Remember, 'Your donation will help fund research that could provide a cure'.  Imagine that, you sponsor me, I run a marathon for charity, the charity get the money, the money funds the research and the research finds a cure.  That'll be thanks to all you beautiful sponsors.
