Story

*Sweats and tolls fighting against COVID. Sweats and tolls bringing the reward. Sweats and tolls getting ready to fight again.*

A dozen intrepid consultants, nurses, and managers, from brainy ones (neurologists) and not so brainy ones (Emergency Department, Chest, Kidney, Ageing & Health and Digestive Specialists). Some of them are themselves COVID survivors! We have decided to train to become fit again. We are training with a view of doing a cycle trip from Darent Valley Hospital where we work to Brighton on Saturday 26th September 2020 .

For most, this is a once in a life-time adventure. They are all quietly training despite their busy work schedule, at their own pace and in their own time, over the last several weeks to achieve their own personal goals. Their selflessness should be supported and applauded.

Our expanded Stroke Unit, catering for 400,000 people living in Dartford & Gravesham and S E London, needs all the help it can muster. The monies raised will help to purchase much needed monitoring and other equipment to provide exemplary care.

Please dig deep. Your generous donations will be life-saving.

Thank you in advance for your support
