Event: Strictly Dancing For Dementia, on 30 September 2017
Participants: Vanessa Barnes
We are raising funds for a cutting-edge piece of equipment called a Fibroscanner, which can detect liver disease earlier and allow patients to access treatment sooner.

Story

Strictly Dancing For Dementia takes place on Saturday 30th September at The Park Inn, Southern Way Harlow from 8pm. As well as seasoned dancers we are encouraging anyone to come along and join in and sample what will be a very enjoyable evening with raffles and a silent auction too. We are raising money to buy a Reminiscence Therapies System for PAH, this ground-breaking equipment is a fantastic addition to the care and support for not only dementia patients but also those suffering all forms of neurological symptoms.

Tickets are available from vbarnes@insignia-group.co.uk and are only £12.50 and The Park Inn has been kind enough to be one of the main sponsors for the evening.

Funds will go into the My Life Memory Software Appeal.

About the charity

We support patients, our people and visitors at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, St. Margaret’s Hospital and Herts and Essex Hospital. We provide support that is beyond the scope of the NHS, for example purchasing special equipment, improving facilities and investing in vital research.
