The Aircrew of Helimed 06 (Paramedics & Pilots) successfully completed the Adidas Silverstone Half Marathon on March 15th 2009 to raise funds for Midlands Air Ambulance.

The charity receives no government or lottery money – in fact no public funding at all. It needs to fundraise £5.6 million each year to keep the three helicopters that cover the entire West Midlands region flying.
