This is a personal one. The past few months have been hell but, from it, came a few positives. As aspects of my life started to grow, so did my sister’s baby - only hers was and remains in NICU. When things were looking the worst they could possibly look, it was the support of our audience that got me through it and the support of the NICU staff that got my sister and brother-in-law through it. I thought, “Why not tie these two things together and do some good for a charity that helps families like mine make it through an excruciatingly difficult time?”
