Story
George, Sam and Ben are three highly tuned and motivated athletes running the London Marathon on the 22nd April 2018 for Cancer research. Our Aim is to go toe to toe with Mo Farah and try and push him all the way towards our sub 2 hour goal.
No really, we are all bored of running already (even though some of us haven't done much training!). We have not done anything like this before and are all finding it hard to run past the local pub let alone 26.2 miles. Please donate as much as you can for this very worthy cause. It will help kick us into gear and get us out running the roads of the North Essex countryside. As an added incentive if we raise more than our £10K target Ben has promised to run the marathon in a pink inflatable onion costume (that has to be worth a quid or two?).
We sadly all know someone close to us who has either survived cancer or lost the battle. So lets raise some money to help bring the odds of survival further and further in our favour.
Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improves survival rates even further,
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to Cancer Research.
