Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The call of the mountains.

The Spirited Tenacious Optimistic and totally Potty people in the STOP team are taking on a challenge to raise funds for the refurbishment of Budhmor. On the 28 August we will be tackling 3 Munros - The Cairnwell (meaning hill of the bags), Carn Aosda (meaning hill of age) and Carn a Gheoidh (meaning hill of the goose).

Rising to the challenge is a great attraction in its self although it is bringing mixed feeling from some.  These include real excitement, pure and utter trepidation with questions like can I do this? Who suggested this? Did we all agree to this?

Sir Edmund Hilary when asked why he climbed Everest stated? “because its there”  We are doing this
