Story
At the age of 7, I managed to complete a 20 mile sponsored walk for the local village hall. Some 51 years later I am hoping to complete approximately 1150 miles for World Land Trust. The bad news is that I get to carry all my gear. The good news is I get to see a lot of our wonderful countryside.
And the very good news is that the company I work for - Ecclesiastical Insurance - is generously fund-matching all donations up to a total value of £5000. That means if we meet the £5000 target, World Land Trust will get £10000! So anything you can give - and I do mean anything - will be doing twice as much good.
Hopefully during the trek I will manage to add updates here, on Instagram @stonekicking and my website: https://www.stonekicking.co.uk
For those who didn't know, World Land Trust protects the world's most biologically significant and threatened habitats acre by acre. Through a network of partner organisations around the world, WLT funds the creation of reserves and provides permanent protection for habitats and wildlife. Partnerships are developed with established and highly respected local organisations who engage support and commitment among the local community.
