We take in unwanted and abandoned dogs to then help them find their forever homes

Story

Patch came to Stokenchurch Dog Rescue in September 2011.

Patch has previously been re-homed but he was returned due to aggressive behaviour, when he is frustrated, particularly around other dogs, he can re-direct and nip.  Patch also takes a while to trust people but once you have built a relationship with him he loves his cuddles.

Patch can have adult visitors via prior arrangement

About the charity

Stokenchurch dog rescue was originally formed by local residents in 1963 to save the lives of stray and unwanted dogs. We never destroy a healthy dog, believing that somewhere there is a kind and permanent home for every dog. We also take in and care for the sick, the old and the traumatised.
