As youth at STN we have been exploring how to raise awareness for issues of social justice and how to take action, to make a difference in the situations we care about. 

Before we head off for summer we are ending the year with a fundraiser for Yemen!! We explored different issues we cared about and decided we could make an impact by raising funds to support Tearfund's work in Yemen. It's the worlds largest humanitarian crisis, with 22.2 million people in urgent need of humanitarian aid. Tearfund's partners in Yemen are working tirelessly in very difficult circumstances to reach those suffering the most. They are providing safe drinking water and food for vulnerable households, and improving access to healthcare and hygiene advice to reduce the spread of deadly disease. 

To raise money we have created the #chill4three challenge! We are holding ice in our mouth for three minutes (its harder than it sounds), donating £3, then nominating 3 people to take part. Follow us on Instagram @stnyouth to see what we're up to.
