THE ST MICHAELS XTREME 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE
St. Michaels Cof E Primary School in Bishops Stortford, Herts strives to inform and enrich the lives of all pupils who are in their care and ensures those crucial Primary years of education help develop children's physical, mental, social and spiritual strengths.
At the very beginning of this education is the Nursery where children can learn at an early age the ethos of the schools aims and beliefs. The school is now in desperate need of a new nursery and as with all Church schools, the Government will only donate 90% of any building costs granted. It is up to the Governors of the school and PTA fundraising events to raise the remaining 10%. It is estimated the school will need to raise in excess of £50,000 to go towards the building costs.
The Parents and Teachers making up the St. Michaels Xtreme 3 Peaks Challenge 2010 team (Scotland Ben Nevis, England Scafell Pike and Wales Snowdon) ask for any donations you feel happy to give to go towards this amount and help keep the Nursery open at St Michaels.
