Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our page. We decided that as we can't be together on sports day we would have a 'Stay at Home Sports Day' to support our NHS. We are going to have our sports day across the week beginning Monday 18th May.
For our sports day, we are challenging every child to go on a Rainbow Ramble. This can be completed either inside or outside of the house. We would like children to walk the following amount of steps-
Class 1 to walk 100 steps
Class 2 to walk 200 steps
Class 3 to walk 300 steps
Class 4 to walk 400 steps
Once you have completed your ramble you could send a picture to your class teacher to prove you have done it. Maybe some children could even push themselves to do a few more steps!
Once we have completed our Sports day, it would be lovely if you could donate any amount to our chosen charity. We understand that at this difficult time this might not be possible but please be assured any amount would be greatly received. Your money goes straight to the charity which supports the NHS.
NHS staff and volunteers are doing amazing work right now in caring for COVID-19 patients.Together, let's show our respect and gratitude as they work tirelessly in the face of the virus. It's our turn to make sure we look after them, to ensure they can keep doing their vital work.
At St Mary's we have always been good at fundraising, lets have some fun and raise money at the same time.
Stay safe and stay tuned to this page for regular updates.
