Story
At Midday on Monday 13th March 2023, St Mary's Rugby League will be embarking on their annual 24 Hour Row for the Mental Health Charity CALM. This event sees the team keep two rowing machines going non-stop for the entire 24 Hour Period. This is event extremely important to us as a club as it gives us the opportunity to remember past members who have sadly taken their own lives. We are pleased to see this event return to St Mary's and will be the first 24 Hour Row following the COVID-19 Pandemic, the pandemic saw the importance of mental health be highlighted as an extremely important issue facing the global population and CALM does amazing work in assisting with mental health work and encouragement of that it is okay to talk when you're not okay.

CALM exists to change this by offering life saving services, provoking conversation and bringing people together to reject living miserably. From advice on our site, through to free, confidential chats with our helpline staff, online or on the phone, we’re here for whoever needs us, every day.
