We are raising money for the Cancer Care And Haematology unit which is based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury. The centre gives much needed treatment to patients with cancer and blood disorders in a specialist unit close to patient's homes, saving patients the long journey to oxford and other specialist centres.
The money you donate will help pay for training opportunities for staff, essential additional nursing posts for the unit, purchase new equipment and fund the research component of the Haematology Registrar post for the Buckinghamshire Hospitals Trust. All of this is done to keep the unit at the forefront of medical practice and support new techniques and technologies so that patients receive the best possible care.
After completion of the triathlon we will post photos and let you know which team was better.
Thank you in advance for your donations
