We encourage all supporters of our wonderful heritage churches and chapels to raise much needed funds for their maintenance by asking friends and family to provide sponsorship for the annual Ride + Stride event on 10th September.

The objective of the Berkshire Historic Churches Trust (BHCT) is to raise funds to help with the cost of repairs to the fabric of Christian churches in Berkshire of any denomination belonging to or associated with “Churches together in England”. Our aim is to encourage churches to make use of their buildings for the benefit of the  community at large where possible.

Torquil is intending to cycle to not less than 20 churches in the Bradfield Deanery to raise funds for the BHCT (50%) and for St Mark's (50%).

Lucy will be completing a marathon walk from St Mark's to Reading and back, visiting churches along the way.
