Story

Thank you for visiting this fundraising page!

The Herald editor Bill Martin and picture editor Pete Holdgate are to tackle one of the most hostile environments on earth when they take part in the Namibia Ultra marathon in April. They will race 120km in 24 hours across the vast expanse of the oldest desert in the world.  The pair are currently in heavy training and are looking for sponsors.

Please dig deep and sponsor them online!   Every bit helps!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Luke's Hospice Plymouth will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

A huge thank you to all for your support.

Follow Bill and Pete's training in the Herald leading up to the event.
