Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page. I set it up in memory of my parents whose young lives were dominated by the events of WW2.

Many of us have watched in horror as the Ukraine conflict continues to unfold. Even if peace talks succeed, this is still the worst humanitarian disaster since WW2. 13 million Ukrainians have left the country and estimated damage costs stand at £100 billion. Confirmed figures show that nearly 3,000 civilians— including over 100 children — have been killed in Ukraine so far. But it is believed that 10,000 have died in Mariopol alone.

This page has been set up to support the fundraising concert at St Johns Church Bromsgrove on Saturday 26th March. So far £1355.97 has been raised. This includes card and cash donations given on the night of the concert as well as funds donated to this page.

All money collected on here will go to the DEC Ukraine appeal. DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries providing food, water, shelter and medical assistance. Any support you can give will be much appreciated. Thank you.
