Story
NHS staff and volunteers are doing amazing work right now in caring for COVID-19 patients.Together, let's show our respect and gratitude as they work tirelessly in the face of the virus. It's our turn to make sure we look after them, to ensure they can keep doing their vital work.
Several staff from Surface Technology International based in Hook, UK are raising funds for NHS Charities Together, the charity for NHS staff,
volunteers and patients impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. This is the charity supported by Captain (now Colonel)Tom Moore, the 100 year old veteran who has captured the nation’s heart by walking 100 lengths of his back garden.
Surface Technology International is playing a key role in the Ventilator Challenge UK consortium tasked with building in excess of 15,000 units to be used in the fight against COVID-19. As such, the band of staff will be virtually cycling and running the distance between the key businesses involved in Ventilator Challenge UK.
Also, they will incorporate a virtual trip to Bedford, the home of Captain Tom and finish the challenge at the home of NHS Nightingale London, the Excel Centre.
