Story
Last year, we embarked on a truly heartfelt fundraising journey to support Asa, who had Niemann-Pick Type A, a rare and fatal genetic disease. Everyone's generosity was absolutely outstanding, raising over £100,000 for NPUK during the #walk4Asa fundraiser💛
We all draw our inspiration from Elizabeth and Joe, who are Asa's parents. They've taught us the profound importance of finding joy in life's simplest moments, facing challenges with unwavering courage, and cherishing every precious second.
In honour of Asa's memory and to shed light on this rare disease, we are back this year to try and continue our fundraising!
On September 10th of this year, we will be taking on the challenge of the Great North Run. Together, we will be running to support this small charity once again!
By participating in the Great North Run, we aim to not only raise funds but also increase awareness about Niemann-Pick diseases. The funds raised will have a direct impact by supporting the charity’s mission, which involves providing essential support, care, and information to individuals and families affected by Niemann-Pick diseases.
Thank you each and every one of you - we look forward to following your efforts!
